TLG® LICENSE AGREEMENTS

The TLG® Digital Library is available to individuals and institutions (either online or in CD ROM) on the basis of a five-year license agreement. At the end of the license period, users may elect to cancel their subscription or renew it. CD ROM users who cancel their subscription must return their disk to the Project.

Prospective TLG susbcribers should take the following into consideration:

• The Online TLG is updated quarterly and contains a significant number of new texts that are not included in the TLG CD ROM. The most recent version of the TLG CD ROM (TLG E) was released in February 2000.

• The TLG CD ROM does not contain search software. CD ROM subscribers will need to obtain additional software to search the contents of the disk.

Please read the following to identify which type of subscription is right for you:

• Individuals:
  • Single-user subscription with online access: $400.00 for five (5) years
    Unlimited use of the TLG for the individual subscriber. Access requires password protected login.

  • Single-user subscription-CD ROM only: $400.00 for five (5) years (renewal: $300.00 for five years)
    Single-user ccess to the TLG data through the TLG disk only. No web access.

• Institutions:
  • Online access for a limited number of workstations (3-11):
    Access the TLG from specific workstations only. The workstation subscription is meant to accommodate small departments with a few users.

    Unlimited online access for all authorized members of the subscribing institution.
