Lists and Links to Classics Resources


The following sites and/or departmental Home Pages maintain extensive lists of resources of interest to Classicists.

  1. The Ancient History Sourcebook is a site developed by Paul Halsall. It contains a list of links to materials (texts and images) for ancient history and civilization courses. It is meant as a companion to the Medieval Sourcebook an extensive collection of Internet resources for Medieval Studies (also maintained by Paul Halsall).
  2. Classics Search Engines is a long list of Web sites (search engines, e-texts, software, other Home pages, etc.)
  3. Corax Zone is a list of links to Classics Resources maintained by John Kirby at Purdue University
  4. The Deutsche Datenquellen: Klassische Philologie and Deutsche Datenquellen: Alte Geschichte are two comprehensive lists of internet resources for Classics and Ancient History from the German-speaking world.

  5. UCLA Library Collections and Internet Resources in CLASSICAL & BYZANTINE STUDIES: This page created by Paul Naiditch, UCLA Classics Bibliographer contains information and links to Classics Resources. It also provides a list of North American and British theses and dissertations, in progress or recently completed, concerned with classical antiquity.
