Latin Transliteration Test

The Latin transliteration used here should be familiar to classicists. It is the same as that used at Perseus, with the following refinements:
  1. Digamma and stigma are transcribed as w.
  2. Koppa is transcribed as q.
  3. Sampi is transcribed as ç.
  4. A| (alpha with iota subscript) is differentiated from AI (alpha iota); while the latter is rendered as ai, the former is rendered with a long a, as âi.
  5. The coronis is rendered as an apostrophe; the rough coronis as an apostrophe followed by h. Thus, TOU)RGON is rendered as t'ourgon, not tourgon, and XW(S as ch'hôs, not chôs.
