Greek Characters missing from the Greek Unicode Set

The TLG has preparing a series of proposals to encode characters needed for the accurate representation of Greek texts in the UCS. The most up-to-date versions are posted below. Earlier versions of the proposals are also linked to this page for archival purposes.

The fonts used in the proposals were developed by David Perry, well known as the author of the Cardo font. James Kass, author of Code 2001, kindly extended his expertise in a moment's notice to help with the Musical Symbols font. The TLG project is particularly indebted to David Perry for working long hours to complete this project under very strict deadlines. The final submission of these proposals would not have been possible without his commitment and dedication.

Each proposal has an abbreviated version (UCS summary form, introduction, bibliography, and list of characters proposed) which is the version to be submitted to UTC, and a longer version containing documentation and examples of use for each character.
